In memory of Dan Chandler
Dan Chandler was the founder of Prudential Real Estate Professionals in Salem. He showed an unwavering commitment to helping people achieve success in their lives. Whether he was working in the slums of Mexico building shelter for the underprivileged or working with people who wanted to build successful careers in business, Dan felt that teaching people new skills and providing enough support to help them get started was the key to lasting change.
Upon his passing in 1998, several of his friends, colleagues and family chose to carry on this tradition by establishing a memorial scholarship in his name at Chemeketa Community College.
Impact
Dan was committed to helping people achieve success in their lives, and this scholarship established in his memory assists graduates of high schools in Marion, Polk, Yamhill, Linn and Benton counties who are seeking degrees in business or technology from Chemeketa.
