Lee Coyne

Barry Lee Coyne has combined three careers that overlap: journalist, counseling and college instruction. He loves creativity and deems his life mission as being creative in writing and community service. Raised in part by grandparents in Brooklyn, Lee developed several projects linking youth and elders in puppetry, gardening and writing.

Here in Salem he launched the Salem Peace Mosaic for the old YMCA and emceed 700 TV talk shows for Station CCTV, all of them unscripted. His goal is to introduce everyday people to the larger community. He also likes to invent original recipes. He married twice and traveled to Europe, Asia and the Americas. His love of languages took in Spanish, Tagalog and Russian.
