Minimum GPA: 3.0
Minimum Credits per term: 12
Specific Criteria: Minimum 2.0 GPA to be eligible to apply and must maintain a minimum of 3.0 GPA to retain scholarship.
Preference: Graduates of Yamhill County High Schools
Program Requirements: Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer Degree (AAOT) with intent to pursue a career in Education or Early Childhood Education, Dental Assisting Certificate, Pharmacy Technician Certificate, Computer Systems and Information Technology AAS, Drafting Technology-CAD Program AAS, Computer Electronics AAS, Electronic Engineering Technician AAS, Industrial Electronics AAS, CAD/CAM Manufacturing AAS, Welding AAS, Graphic Design AAS, Interactive Media AAS, Manual Machining Operator Certificate, Computer Numerically Controlled Operator Certificate, or Basic Manufacturing Technician Certificate.
The Trumbo/Lowe Family Scholarship was established by Mark and Jennifer Trumbo supporting Yamhill County High School graduates seeking Career & Technical certificates and degrees. Mark was a longtime Chemeketa Community College employee where he served as the Director of the McMinnville Campus for 19 years before his retirement in 2000.
