COMMUNITY TALENT SCHOLARSHIP

Minimum GPA: 2
Minimum Credits per term: 6
Specific Criteria: Must be willing to volunteer for five hours a term with the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Office.
Preference: Preference will be given to students who demonstrate, through personal experiences and/or public commitment, a dedication to the interests of the BIPOC community; have earned their GED; are a student parent; and/or first generation students.

This fund was created to award scholarships for students selected to participate in the Talent, Innovation, and Equity (TIE) project. Recipients will be required to volunteer five hours per term with the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Office and will become project mentors who will engage with the Salem Chapter of the NAACP and other community-based organizations for effective outreach training.
