Minimum Credits per term: 12
Specific Criteria: First-generation student pursuing a two-year career technical degree programs or one-year certificate programs and enter the workforce upon completion.
Preference: With all applicants being equal, the benefit should be given to applicants who were previously incarcerated.
Program Requirements: Degree or a one-year certificate in Apprenticeship, Automotive Technology, Building Inspection, Business/Accounting, Computer Information Systems, Diesel Technology, Drafting/Welding, Electronics/Robotics, Emergency Services, Human Services, Machining Technology, Truck Driving, Visual Communications, or Wine Studies.

This fund was established by a gift from E. Pat Smith to support full-time, first-generation students pursuing career and technical education programs.
