Minimum GPA: 2.5
Minimum Credits per term: 12
Specific Criteria: Second-year student (minimum 36 credit hours). Awarded to first-generation students who are bilingual in Spanish.
Program Requirements: Life Science, Physical Science, Social Science, Mathematics, Engineering (STEM), Drafting, Computer Science, Computer information technologies, electronics,mathematics, biology, chemistry, geology, and physics or Education degree or certificate.
Award condition: Recipient must be willing to participate in a mentorship opportunity with sponsor.

Established by Linda Herrera and friends in honor of her retirement after 30 years at Chemeketa to inspire a new generation of community leaders, educators, and students who are underrepresented in those fields.
